Let’s learn a little about you and get to experience what makes us tick – starting at our beginnings. Where did your story begin?
Vladimer Botsvadze: I grew up in Georgia, a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia, which is home to Caucasus Mountain villages and the Black Sea beaches. Georgia is one of the oldest wine-producing countries. I come from a hardworking family. My father is a renowned professor and my mother is a doctor. I’m grateful to them for doing their best in my life. I’m also thankful to other amazing people for making a difference in my life. All experiences shaped me into who I’m today. I’m super ambitious, motivated, full of passion and I move forward. I was a friendly, persistent, energetic, and light-hearted kid. My parents kept me happy and they encouraged me to perform small acts of kindness for other people to build empathy, which built my social skills and made me happier in the long run. They taught me how to look on the bright side of things. Generally, optimists are more successful.
I started from scratch and my mentality helped me climb every mountain in tech and marketing and turn my knack for marketing into a profitable business. I was 18 when I moved to the US and everyone sees who I’m today, which is an amazing story. I’m self-made 100% because I was learning, working, exploring, climbing, and moving forward. I sacrificed so much and I love everything that I achieved because I’ve done everything to the best of my ability. I knew that Twitter would be instrumental in my growth and I fired on all cylinders. I have an intuitive ability to know where people’s attention is on the web. Just remember these networks didn’t exist 20 years ago and what we have at our fingertips is a godsend opportunity. I’m now in my early 30s and I’ve built my brand, which is cherished by the business world. To grow to that level was very grueling and building my brand has put me on the global map. I wanted this big success to remind myself that nothing was impossible. I worked every single day in my 20s and I’m about to start building some level of work-life balance.
I’m an award-winning visionary of digital marketing and transformation. I’m a thought leader, a highly respected authority on online branding whose keynote speeches and onscreen commentating have been viewed by millions of audiences. From content marketing to AI, my speaking topics are relevant to technology and marketing events. I’m an effortless storyteller, since bursting onto the keynote circuit in 2020, I’ve made my way up to the ranks onto the number one top spot and as a result, I’m ranked №1 Global Marketing Thought Leader by Thinkers360. I can be commonly found at summits and influential conferences, where I leave audiences with a comprehensive understanding of their digital marketing potential and how to achieve it through actionable strategies. With over 200 influential awards, you can trust that my speaking topics are game-changing and rewarding. Across 145 countries and 1,182 cities, I inspire 40 million people annually — including elite Fortune 500 companies.
I’ve been recognized as one of Kred’s Top 1% of Global Marketing, Social Media, and Tech Influencers, GlobalData’s №2 Retail Tech Influencers. My work is widely thought to pioneer innovation as well as brand me as a visionary leader. Winners always focus on winning and I’ve always focused on it. I’ve never complained in my life, I’ve put in the work and my efforts have performed miracles. I’m always happy, my optimism, positivity, and patience drive my results. It’s also about making yourself better every single day, I spend a couple of hours reading management, marketing, business, leadership, and tech books. Jim Rohn said: ”Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.” I also travel as much I can, constantly expanding my horizon. Soft skills also play a big role in my success that include leadership – I’m able to lead and inspire my colleagues with my insight, experience, innovation, and creativity – I bring new ideas on ways to help the world to be successful.
I always start with where I want to end up and aim high. All in all, I give a head start to tomorrow today, keep the mornings for the toughest projects, always schedule time for revenue-generating activities and track my progress. It’s in my DNA to work outside my comfort zone by going for my dreams, exploring new things, and getting the most out of my life. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
Vladimer Botsvadze: I’m proud of my parents and they are my heroes. They taught me to expect effort, not perfection. They have always praised my effort, not my natural ability. They inspired me to choose optimism and optimists always find a way, they succeed because they paddle their canoes and stand on their own two feet. Independence is important because I moved to the US when I was 18 which turned out to be the backbone of my success. Moreover, they have also taught me self-discipline, people who have self-discipline live much better lives and are happier overall. Self-discipline facilitates learning and information processing, and disciplined people are long-term thinkers.
What are the most common mistakes you see entrepreneurs make and what would you suggest they do?
Vladimer Botsvadze: I believe entrepreneurs should push more practicality and build their brands. They are taught mostly theories at business schools that aren’t effective in real-world experiences. Entrepreneurship is all about being in the branding business whereas the majority are oriented on sales and sending you sales pitches on Linkedin. When you build a solid reputation, the entire world comes to you to work with you. You give away all your best advice for free because you are driven to provide value and help others build business confidence. So it’s of paramount importance to build a personal brand online, patience is foundational for everyone’s success. Rome wasn’t built in a day and they should always create content that educates and inspires audiences and followers.
There are enthusiastic and passionate people across social media channels who are on the same mission to build their brands, to grow their communities, to share inspiring content, to show the world the meaning of perseverance, etc. I’m lucky to have met such ardent, indefatigable, galvanizing, and renowned individuals who shared their knowledge with me and such partnerships have led to my exponential growth. One good turn always deserves another, I always believe in giving back and strengthening the confidence of entrepreneurs. My journey demonstrates a clear example of the importance of personal brand building. If people know you personally, they trust you, they join forces with you, and they build incredible things with you.
Has the pandemic and transitioning into mostly online shopping affected your company positively or negatively?
Vladimer Botsvadze: The pandemic revealed how crucial it’s to have a strong personal brand. When lockdown started I saw the demand for my consulting and speaking services grew rapidly. For the first time in my career, I joined the speakers’ bureaus and became a professional speaker. My brand allowed me to help many top brands thrive during the pandemic. When it comes to social media, I firmly believe in trying new things. Paying closer attention to new opportunities is what matters the most. You can always depend on your brand and I’ve spent the last 8 years building my brand from scratch.
I was invited as a speaker by Social Media Club to the Digital Talk Forum where I shared my expertise alongside marketing thought leaders. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and it has been one of the biggest milestones in my speaking career. As a result, the attendees built high-performance teams, became market leaders, delivered extraordinary team results, increased ROI, accelerated delivery, improved competitiveness, and market positioning, grew revenue and income, increased productivity, drove engagement, and improved customer retention.
I built a powerful online presence through channels like social media and I’m proud to be hugely followed. I’ve shared my marketing and entrepreneurial knowledge through tweets, blog posts, YouTube videos, interviews, and keynote speeches. I’ve jumped into the conversations on Twitter and built relationships with the world’s most powerful people. The best way to succeed is to deliver results and my results always speak for themselves. I’m a huge believer in the value of hard work and testing new ideas. I continuously generate great content of the video, audio, and blog material every day. We live in the digital world. Commercials, direct mail, and magazines are water under the bridge. The business world has changed.
Having served thousands of businesses, I know what it means to grow their brands. If they have a particular marketing challenge that they want to help with, they book a Zoom or Skype consulting session with me, so they solve their marketing problems as soon as possible. My mentoring services helped entrepreneurs manage their voice online. As a speaker, I work with universities, businesses, and individual service professionals to achieve strategic growth. I’m represented by the world’s leading speakers bureaus including Champions Speakers UK, All American Speakers, Pro-Motivate, and Global Speakers Bureau. I’m results-driven and passionately driven to innovate, constantly pushing boundaries for my valued clients and delivering unique results. I speak on social media strategies that are tailored to accomplish profitable results.

You are a successful business leader. Which three character traits do you think were most instrumental to your success?
Vladimer Botsvadze: I always believe in creating my path. I enjoy marching to a different drummer and following my passion. These are the traits that separate me from the competitors: the nimble mindset, industriousness, curiosity, self-confidence, empathy, optimism, giving back, resilience, and creativity.
I built a strong work ethic that allowed me to build a huge following, win over 200 awards, become a speaker at global agencies, and become a professor at top business schools. I built independence and responsibility for getting things done, leading by example. I always start new hobbies and pursue interests, being a lifelong learner at heart. I believe in myself which is a cornerstone for a successful life. Being successful is all about having faith in my abilities. I understand the importance of empathy and positive connections. Furthermore, I share positive stories and inspirational talks with my audiences. Giving back plays a big role in my success. Everyone should understand the importance of corporate social responsibility.
What have you learned about personal branding that you wish you had known earlier in your career?
Vladimer Botsvadze: I wish I had been much more active across social media platforms in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. I moved to London in 2009 when I was 22. I studied and worked which instilled a competitive advantage in me. In my early 20s, I didn’t have much time to spend on social because I was in the process of developing, studying, and gaining practical experience. Virtual life has already become real life and I’m fortunate to capitalize on my experience to keep on building my brand online. I started striking while the iron was hot in 2014. What led to my growth is game-changing, I attended some practical conferences in Dubai in 2014. I was inspired to take advantage of social media channels to grow my career.
As a result, everyone sees who I’m today, which is a sought-after story. I’m proud to share my success story with audiences that help them follow in my footsteps. I can proudly say nothing is impossible when you work 16 hours a day. I believed in myself and my performance has been flawless on Twitter. I have had a harder way to succeed in life because I missed all parties and events in my 20s to give my career my best shot. I have been performing at this level for many years which shows my drive, persistence, and discipline. Success is always a mental game, take the bull by the horns. You have to keep on improving and moving forward. I still believe the best is yet to come in my career. As long as these networks exist, I’m going to work with my whole heart. We are the builders of our destiny and this is the path I have ever wanted. I always think about winning ahead.
What’s your favorite leadership style and why?
Vladimer Botsvadze: I consider myself a strategic leader. I encourage teamwork and treat the team equally. People-oriented leaders build teams that everyone wants to be part of and a culture that drives natural and purposeful success.
What advice would you give to our younger readers that want to become entrepreneurs?
Vladimer Botsvadze: Self-motivation allows you to produce great results, so stay outside your comfort zone. It costs nothing to create content at scale so fire on all cylinders across all social media platforms. Go for your dreams, explore new things, choose happiness and live without limits.
What’s your favorite “life lesson” quote and how has it affected your life?
Vladimer Botsvadze: ”Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” – Albert Einstein
Progress is all about moving forward, leaving no stone unturned, hitting the ground running, surrounding yourself with smarter people, and pushing self-education.
