We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company.
Vladimir Lushnikov: RealPool is a startup looking to bring more people into the international real estate investment community. Through my own interest, I was consistently met with examples of how inaccessible this industry is to the average person, and as someone with extensive experience, I decided to launch RealPool to give others the same opportunity.
I know firsthand that international investing can lead to some of the best returns on investment, but traditionally the field has been restricted to only the top one percent of the one percent.
RealPool is looking to democratize this by using some of the same tools that high-net worth-individuals use in an easy-to-use app.
What advice do you wish you had received when you started your business journey and what do you intend on improving in the next quarter?
Vladimir Lushnikov: Both of these answers are the same and revolve around time management. Being the founder, I have a million things to do on any given day, and I wish I got more advice on time management when I started RealPool, and I aim to improve that in the next few months.
Online business keeps on surging higher than ever, B2B, B2C, online shopping, virtual meetings, remote work, Zoom medical consultations, what are your expectations for the year to come and how are you capitalizing on the tidal wave?
Vladimir Lushnikov: This is exactly what RealPool is all about. We’re looking to combine the limitless possibilities of our algorithm with our offline, personal experience in the field.
The remote work tidal wave is coming for the PropertyTech world, and we’re going to see more algorithm-based decisions, decentralized systems across the global real estate markets, and smart contracts to make the market more accessible.
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Vladimir Lushnikov: While the remote world we are living in gives us the opportunity to launch a platform like RealPool, it also makes it more difficult to build relationships with new clients and buyers in the US.
Often, those clients are focused on the US market, and it takes more convincing to have them look internationally for new opportunities.
2020, 2021, and 2022 threw a lot of curve balls into businesses on a global scale. Based on the experience gleaned in the past years, how can businesses thrive in 2023? What lessons have you learned and what advice would you share?
Vladimir Lushnikov: The pandemic caused impressive growth in the real estate market, and we were able to hone our platform and algorithm because of it. Now businesses and investors are looking to make smart and safe investments as they struggle with the fallout of inflation.
The biggest piece of advice I can give is look for opportunities to diversify, not just in your investments, but in the location as well.. This way if the US or British or Chinese markets fall, you have investments elsewhere to de risk your real estate portfolio.
What does “success” in 2023 mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision.
Vladimir Lushnikov: 2023 into 2024 is going to be a huge year for both RealPool and myself. While I look to expand an ever growing consulting portfolio, I’m excited that the RealPool team is ramping up testing of the new platform, and we’re looking forward to releasing it to the world soon.
Jed Morley, VIP Contributor to ValiantCEO and the host of this interview would like to thank Vladimir Lushnikov for taking the time to do this interview and share his knowledge and experience with our readers.
