Zach Tetley is Co-founder of Nexus Homebuyers. Before real estate, Zach worked in the restaurant industry and was able to successfully implement strategies and systems that helped not only produce results but overall customer satisfaction.
He is able to take that experience and implement it in his own business to consistently create a customized solution for homeowners in the Knoxville area. He loves what he does and looks forward to helping you with any real estate problem you face.
Zach Tetley: In the next 5-10 years, Americans will be moving toward the Sun Belt. This was instigated by the pandemic and reignited in the popularity of these properties. It is expected to dominate the real estate market for the foreseeable future.
The scheme is not only appealing to real estate professionals and retired individuals, but the Sun Belt estate is also attractive to younger people due to lower taxes and affordability of houses. It comes as a surprise to many, but even the most commercial Sun Belt cities offer more space as compared to the US metro areas such as New York.
Furthermore, this growth will not remain limited to single-family homes but will likely stretch towards multifamily housing and commercial real estate.
Andy Kolodgie, real estate expert & owner of Sell My House Fast. Sell My House Fast is a real estate investment firm specializing in helping homeowners sell houses fast.
Andy Kolodgie: One of the biggest trends we’ll be seeing in the next five years is relocation to the Sun Belt. The US is going through a mass migration from cities to suburban areas. In the future, we will see the popularity of Sun Belt states rise significantly. Major cities such as New York, Seattle and Boston are getting too expensive to live in and are running out of affordable housing.
As such, people will realize that the Sun Belt cities offer more space. Housing prices are also rising in these cities, but not at the pace of other metropolitan areas. Housing and land availability are also significant factors that will trigger this relocation trend.

Anthony Minniti: A major real estate trend in the next 5 – 10 years is that house hunting will be digitalized. The pandemic has already given rise to the popularity of virtual home tours. This trend is expected to further increase in the following years, of course, with some changes and advancements. With people working atleast two jobs to combat inflation, it’ll be challenging for them to find the time to look for homes.
Due to this, house hunting will go digital. Potential homebuyers will prefer to look for their dream property online and even opt for virtual tours. So, AI and VR technologies will play a massive role in the real estate industry. This will save buyers a lot of time and energy, even making it possible for them to purchase houses in different cities and/or states.
Daniel Cabrera has been in real estate since 2009. He launched Sell My House Fast San Antonio to help anyone looking to sell their home quickly.
He loves turning older homes and homes that are in need of repair into something beautiful. When you work with him to sell your home, he promises that he will provide you with the best offer for your home and the flexibility of closing on your own schedule.
Daniel Cabrera: The real estate trend dominating the market in the next 5-10 years is shifting towards second-tier cities. This would be due to the increase in prices for the first-tier locations.
Investments in the former have increased significantly over the past year. Since second-tier cities are comparatively low in price, making them prime locations for investment.
When in the coming years, the market will boom, such an investment can have high returns. Such a shift would result in suburbs’ economic growth and help their development. Individuals are moving out of the city and towards suburbs as it would be available at cheaper rates.
Meet Carter Crowley, co-owner, licensed Realtor & senior acquisition manager for CB Home Solutions – he was first introduced to real estate in 2015 & it was love at first sight! But truly, he does love every aspect of the real estate industry & the opportunity to change someone’s life for the better.
Carter’s first goal is to provide a practical solution to any problem. Whether that is through buying/selling real estate or just helping someone make the right decision on what to do with their property. He treats others as he would like to be treated & tries to be resourceful along the way.
Carter is extremely grateful that he has the ability to wake up every day with an opportunity to change the community around him.
Carter Crowley: In the next 5-10 years, we will see more millennials as home buyers, not just starter homes, but ones in which they want to start a family. Hence, it’s best for real estate developers and agencies to adapt according to their demands and needs. Since they are looking for a family home, this generation prefers to have smart home technology, such as DC inverters, solar panels, etc.
That’s because they can help lower the living costs and add a unique selling point to the property in the future. Due to this, construction companies can customize their plans accordingly and ask their target audience for suggestions.
