We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company.
Eldad Postan-Koren: Thank you for having me, it’s a pleasure to be here. My name is Eldad Posten-Korn and I am the founder and CEO of Winn.AI, a startup that specializes in creating an artificial intelligence-based personal assistant for salespeople.
Our mission is to help sales professionals to be more productive, efficient, and successful by automating routine tasks and enabling them to focus on building relationships with their customers.
Before starting Winn.AI, I worked at DreaMed Diabetes, where I began as a salesperson and eventually led the sales team. It was during this time that I recognized the need for an AI-based personal assistant for salespeople, and thus Winn.AI was born.
Prior to this, I also worked at Ourcrowd, a venture capital fund, where I was responsible for the business development of portfolio companies.
Despite being a relatively new company, we have already raised $17 million as an initial investment and have 25 employees who are passionate about our vision. We are excited to continue to grow and make a positive impact on the sales industry with our innovative technology.
If you were in an elevator with Warren Buffet, how would you describe your company, your services or products? What makes your company different from others? What is your company’s biggest strength?
Eldad Postan-Koren: What sets us apart from other companies is our focus on creating a personalized and intuitive experience for each individual user. Our product adapts to each user’s needs and preferences, providing them with the most relevant information and insights to help them succeed.
One of our biggest strengths is our team of talented individuals who are passionate about using technology to make a positive impact on the sales industry.
We have a deep understanding of the challenges that sales professionals face, and we are committed to creating a solution that addresses these challenges in a meaningful way. With our innovative technology and dedicated team, we are confident that Winn.AI has the potential to transform the way that sales professionals work and succeed.
What advice do you wish you received when you started your business journey and what do you intend on improving in the next quarter?
Eldad Postan-Koren: It is all persistence. Holding your emotional situation, keeping on a positive mindset, and keep pushing. Grit is the best tool for entrepreneurs. We got the first yes from investors after 40 told us no. Each “No” is a knockout you need to raise from- faster, stronger, better.
Online business keeps on surging higher than ever, B2B, B2C, online shopping, virtual meetings, remote work, Zoom medical consultations, what are your expectations for the year to come and how are you capitalizing on the tidal wave?
Eldad Postan-Koren: It feels like we’re just getting started. In the coming months, we’re going to add more ecosystems where we see high demand, and next year we’re going to officially launch our free product so that every salesperson on earth could immediately try our product.
Our mission is to provide our users with an experience that they’ve never had before, and we feel the huge appetite in the sales market for such a product.
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Eldad Postan-Koren: Interfering with salespersons in our daily conduct is not good. Adding another system for them to enter, and changing the way they are used to working is a negative type of interference.
This is the main reason I built Winn.AI as an augmentation of other existing systems. This will effectively disrupt the sales force where disruption is needed and welcomed.
In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?
Eldad Postan-Koren: In my experience, one of the most underestimated parts of running a company is time management. As a founder and CEO, there are always countless tasks and responsibilities vying for your attention, and it can be easy to get pulled in many different directions.
One example of how time management can be underestimated is when a CEO spends too much time on operational tasks rather than focusing on the bigger picture and strategic vision for the company. It’s important to delegate tasks and responsibilities to other members of the team in order to free up time and mental energy for more critical and high-level decision-making.
Another example is the importance of setting aside dedicated time for important tasks such as long-term planning, goal setting, and team development. Without prioritizing these activities, it can be easy to get bogged down in day-to-day operations and lose sight of the bigger picture.
Overall, effective time management is essential for running a successful company. It requires discipline, focus, and the ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities in order to maximize productivity and achieve long-term goals.
On a lighter note, if you had the ability to pick any business superpower, what would it be and how would you put it into practice?
Eldad Postan-Koren: If I had the ability to pick any business superpower, it would be to have a personal assistant like framework to take notes in my sales meetings, just like what Winn.AI offers to salespeople. This would allow me to focus on the conversation at hand and ensure that all important details are captured accurately and efficiently.
I can imagine the scenario now: I walk into a sales meeting with a potential client, and my imaginary superpower kicks in. As the conversation begins, my personal assistant starts taking notes in real-time, highlighting key points and providing insights and suggestions to help me close the deal.
With Winn.AI, sales professionals can automate routine tasks like note-taking and prioritize their workflow, which frees them up to build stronger relationships with their customers and ultimately drive more sales.
On a lighter note, I would love to have this superpower in real life, as it would be incredibly useful for staying organized and on top of my game in all my business meetings. And with Winn.AI’s AI-based personal assistant, salespeople can benefit from this superpower too, by streamlining their workflows and optimizing their productivity.
