Brent Bowers: Hi Jed, My name is Brent Bowers and I was tired of slugging away in the military always gone and always away.
So I had to make a change so I started investing in land and it did so well I was able to replace my income pretty quickly and now I am out of the Military and I teach others how to get Rich in land investing with my Land Sharks Community.
What advice do you wish you had received when you started your business journey and what do you intend on improving in the next quarter?
Brent Bowers: The advice I wish I had was:
- Stick to one path and master it.
- Pick one marketing channel and dominate it.
- It is gonna be 3x more expensive than you think and take 3 times longer to be successful
Here is a two-fold question: What is the book that influenced you the most and how? Please share some life lessons you learned. Now what book have you gifted the most and why?
Brent Bowers: Who not how was extremely powerful. By finding the Who’s it has allowed me to do so much more than on my own skills.
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Brent Bowers: The Real Challenge for most is making their first sale, their first profit, their first deal. The biggest challenge is proof of concept and the belief that they can do this too.
In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?
Brent Bowers: The most underestimated part of running a company is the small details. Paying the Bills on time. Keeping your team members engaged, happy and excited about what they are doing and sooo many other things, but one more just keeping the small plates spinning.
In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?
Brent Bowers: 2023 to me means taking the time to actually enjoy the businesses that I have built. Taking time to look back to see how far we have come. The fact that we are profitable and just taking time for celebration, health, family and taking a break from hustle mode.
