How did Sip Channé come to life, and what makes it unique?
Kavita Channe: Sip Channé was born after a life-changing trip to Provence. I fell in love with the beauty of the region and its rosé culture, where wine is a celebration of life. When I returned home, I couldn’t find anything that matched the quality and experience I had in France. So, I set out to create a wine myself that’s elegant, pure, and crafted for people who value wellness and connection.
What sets Sip Channé apart is our commitment to quality and purity. Our wines contain no added sugar, low sulfites, and no unnecessary additives. They’re produced at a family-owned winery just outside St. Tropez, using 40- to 60-year-old vines that create complex, unique flavor profiles. It’s not just wine—it’s a healthier, more sustainable, and joyful way to sip and celebrate life.
How significant is a CEO or founder’s personal brand in driving a company’s growth? Can you share any examples from your own journey?
Kavita Channe: A founder’s personal brand plays a crucial role in shaping a company’s success. Consumers connect with authenticity, and when a founder embodies the values of their brand, it fosters trust, loyalty, and excitement. My journey with Sip Channé is a great example. With my background as a TV host and storyteller, I understood the power of connection. People don’t just buy products—they buy into the story behind them. My passion for wellness, elegance, and quality resonates with my audience, making Sip Channé more than just a wine; it’s a lifestyle. Kavita Channe: One major insight I’ve gained is the power of consistency and visibility. Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has built a personal brand that people immediately recognize. His confidence, strong messaging, and ability to command attention have kept him relevant across industries. With Sip Channé, I’ve learned that authenticity is key—staying true to my brand’s values of quality, wellness, and celebration while maintaining an active presence in my industry and engaging directly with my audience. A strong personal brand creates loyalty, and when people associate your name with something they trust, it becomes a driving force behind your company’s success.
What are the biggest misconceptions about personal branding, and how do you approach it differently to stand out in your industry?

Some believe branding is purely about aesthetics or a perfectly curated social media feed, but true branding runs deeper. It’s about consistency, storytelling, and aligning with a purpose that genuinely resonates with people.
In the wine industry, many brands focus solely on tradition or luxury, but I’ve positioned Sip Channé differently. We emphasize wellness, mindful indulgence, and celebrating life without compromise. I use my platform to educate, engage, and inspire, making wine part of a balanced, beautiful lifestyle. That’s how we stand out—by being relatable, aspirational, and authentic all at once.

You’ve been a TV reporter and host, a best-selling author, have run a marketing firm, and now you’re adding entrepreneur to your résumé. What has your journey been like so far? What important lessons have you learned?
Kavita Channe: It’s truly been an incredible journey, and every chapter has taught me something new. From the fast-paced world of TV to the creativity of writing and entrepreneurship, each role has shaped who I am. The biggest lesson? Trust your instincts and stay adaptable. Challenges will come, but they’re just stepping stones to growth. I’ve learned to embrace the journey, enjoy the process, and surround myself with people who share the same passion and vision.
What’s coming up for Sip Channé?
Kavita Channe:I’m excited that Sip Channé is expanding into new markets and introducing some exciting new products. We’re also growing our wine club to bring our community even closer. On a personal level, my goal is to stay present, prioritize self-care, and spend more time with family and friends. Growth is important, but so is enjoying the journey!
