We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company.
Jess Farinha: Hi, everyone! I’m Jess Farinha, and I’m the founder of London House Cleaners. We are all about making the homes and businesses of London clean and shine.
With years of experience in the cleaning industry, I have built up a team that’s reliable, pays attention to detail, and just gets things spotless and perfectly clean. We feel proud of transforming spaces into clean and healthy ones in which our clients love to work or stay.
If you were in an elevator with Warren Buffett, how would you describe your company, your services or products? What makes your company different from others? What is your company’s biggest strength?
Jess Farinha: I would start by introducing myself. Hey Warren, I am Jess Farinha, the founder of London House Cleaners. We provide impeccable cleaning and organizing services to homes and offices throughout London.
The things that set us apart from others are that our team is trustworthy, meticulous, and shares a common passion for cleanliness and organization.
Our biggest strengths are that we try to outperform every job with dedication, meticulousness, and excellence. We make sure that our clients step into a pristine space to work or stay.
What advice do you wish you had received when you started your business journey and what do you intend on improving in the next quarter?
Jess Farinha: When I started my business, I wish someone had told me to have a team of efficient people from the start. Constant, enthusiastic, and passionate people in the team are necessary for every organization.
And as of next quarter, we intend on making our services more systematic and approachable. We have slowly and steadily stepped up the ladder of success over the years, but there is always potential for growth.
As mentioned earlier, we are dedicated to providing excellent services to our clients, and we always want to perform better than before.
Online business keeps on surging higher than ever, B2B, B2C, online shopping, virtual meetings, remote work, Zoom medical consultations, what are your expectations for the year to come and how are you capitalizing on the tidal wave?
Jess Farinha: The trend of online business is very vast, and surely it will keep growing. It has its own profitable and helpful advantages.
As for the next year, we, at London House Cleaners, will capitalize on this trend by expanding our online presence and starting to book online meetings for virtual consultations and discussions.
We are also working to improve our technologies and provide satisfying services to our clients.
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Jess Farinha: The effects and consequences of the pandemic is the real challenge we are facing right now. With constant changing regulations, customer behaviour, and ongoing economic uncertainty, it is important for any business to stay adaptable and graceful.
They should adapt to new innovations without giving up their core values. We intend on bringing new technologies and alterations to our cleaning and organizing methods so that we can provide the best service for our clients and cater to their different needs and requirements.
Not just this, we also ensure the safety and health of our team members and always try to stay proactive, embrace change, and find opportunity in any circumstances.
Years 2020-2023 threw a lot of curve balls into businesses on a global scale. Based on the experience gleaned in the past years, how can businesses thrive in 2024? What lessons have you learned and what advice would you share?
Jess Farinha: Yes, the last few years have been remarkably shocking and amazing. Everyone has gone through many changes in a short period of time. But one very important thing I’ve learned is that one has to stay adaptive to new technologies and responsive to change.
In 2024, businesses can thrive if they stay updated, well-informed, and ahead of the trends and prepare their business strategies accordingly.Another crucial lesson is to stay flexible and open to remote working. Virtual interactions and remote work setups have become an essential part of people’s lives.
Also, maintaining a good customer relationship is the key to being successful in any business you own.
Loyal customers are the lifeline of an organization. Thus, adapting to their preferences and being open to genuine feedback can get us a long way.
Overall, my advice would be to stay resilient, innovative, and open-minded. Businesses will not only survive but successfully thrive in 2024.
What does “success” in 2024 mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision.
Jess Farinha: In 2024, success to me is stability, sustainable growth, and being able to make a positive impact on the world. In terms of business, it means to continue providing our clients’ with efficient cleaning and organizing services and expand our business throughout London.
It also means to establish a safe and healthy working culture for my team where everyone feels valued, appreciated, and deserving. And in terms of my personal life, I want to spend more time with my loved ones without compromising on my work.
It’s all about finding a balance between the two. I never want to stay stagnant and stop growing. I always want to learn, explore, and be a better version of myself.
