Zain Muhammad: Hey, I’m Zain Muhammad, the sales director at Invictus Star Technology. I started my career as a focus tech enthusiast with a keen eye on market trends and opportunities.
I dived into the tech industry at the tender age of 17, and it’s been an exciting journey since then! I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the best companies, and now, I’m on a mission to build alliances in the tech market of bustling cities of GCC and spread my expertise like wildfire.
I like to read, explore, and adapt the knowledge needed to stay ahead of the curve. I firmly believe that technology attracts technology, and with my skillful sales, and marketing personality, I can unlock the true potential of leadership and middle management, providing tailor-made digital solutions wherever I go.
I have found my interest in Machine learning, AI, Meta, Crypto, and all the latest tech and trends that manipulate the market. If you require assistance with technology solutions, then I am your guy. That’s all from my side!
Can you share a time when your business faced a significant challenge? How did you navigate through it?
Zain Muhammad: Absolutely! Our product launch hit a roadblock due to a major hiccup in the supply chain. But guess what? We tackled the challenge head-on and stuck to our timeline.
How? We quickly put together cross-functional teams, encouraged open communication, and looked for alternate vendors. It was crucial to be flexible and work closely with others. Collaboration made the dream come true for us!
How has a failure or apparent failure set you up for later success?
Zain Muhammad: A product launch failure taught me the value of thorough testing and user feedback. This mindset shift led to iterative improvements, resulting in a more potent and user-friendly solution. I firmly believe, viewing setbacks as opportunities to grow can ignite creativity.
How do you build a resilient team? What qualities do you look for in your team members?
Zain Muhammad: Resilience stems from diverse skills, adaptability, and a growth mindset. I seek individuals who embrace challenges, communicate openly, and exhibit initiative. I think, A blend of technical prowess and emotional intelligence creates a resilient and cohesive team.
How do you maintain your personal resilience during tough times?
Zain Muhammad: I maintain personal resilience during tough times by staying positive and viewing challenges as opportunities to grow. I believe that nothing is impossible when you stay calm and act swiftly during difficult times. I remain flexible, adapt to change, and prioritize self-care for rejuvenation. These strategies keep me strong in both business and personal life.
What strategies do you use to manage stress and maintain focus during a crisis?
Zain Muhammad: I break tasks into manageable chunks, prioritize ruthlessly, and delegate effectively. Regular check-ins with the team maintain alignment, while brief breaks and mindfulness exercises recharge my focus.
How do you communicate with your team during a crisis?
Zain Muhammad: The most important principle is honesty. Communication should always be clear and transparent, and I strive to foster a family-like atmosphere among my team.
Regular video calls, concise reports, and an open-door policy are all key to building trust.. I encourage ideas, acknowledge uncertainties, and emphasize that we’re in it together; it boosts morale and encourages people to work together.
What advice would you give to other CEOs on building resilience in their organizations?
Zain Muhammad: Accept that change happens at all times and foster a community that values being able to adapt. Encourage your team to try new things and learn from their mistakes. This will give them the skills they need to do well in risky situations.
How do you prepare your business for potential future crises?
Zain Muhammad: We conduct scenario planning, identifying vulnerabilities, and crafting contingency strategies. We’re ready for any storm because we’ve diversified our skill sets, taught our workers new knacks, and encouraged collaboration across departments.
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned about leadership in times of crisis?
Zain Muhammad: In times of crisis, empathy, ownership, and clear communication are leadership superpowers. When the leader acts authentically, addresses concerns, and acknowledges emotions. I believe that trust is cultivated, and the team is able to unite and overcome all the problems.
