We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company.
Zach Wade: I’m Zach Wade, CEO of Wade Marketing, a digital marketing agency that’s empowering marketers with the knowledge and resources to uplevel their income by job stacking.
I founded Wade Marketing in 2021 to help others break out of the outdated 9 to 5 and become a New Age Employee.
What sets us apart is our employee-first approach, prioritizing performance-based compensation and a global remote team that emphasizes accountability. We cater to both B2B and B2C digital marketing needs.
In the past year, what is the greatest business achievement you’d like to celebrate with your team? Please share the details of that success.
Zach Wade: The greatest business achievement we’d like to celebrate with our team is the incredible success of our Independent Partnership Program. Since its launch in June 2022, we’ve already welcomed over 200 members who are eager to learn and leverage job stacking, empowering themselves in the digital marketing field.
This milestone is just the beginning of our journey, and we’re excited to see how our program continues to impact the careers and lives of professionals in the industry.
What advice do you wish you had received when you started your business journey and what do you intend on improving in the next quarter?
Zach Wade: In hindsight, the advice I wish I had received when starting my business journey is the importance of having a larger purpose or vision beyond just financial gain.
My previous experiences with failed ventures have taught me that long-term success requires a meaningful “why” that goes beyond profit. In the next quarter, I intend to further emphasize this principle within our company culture, ensuring that our team is aligned with our broader vision and purpose at Wade Marketing.
This will not only drive our success but also create a more fulfilling and sustainable business environment.
Here is a two-fold question: What is the book that influenced you the most and how? Please share some life lessons you learned. Now what book have you gifted the most and why?
Zach Wade: The book that significantly influenced me as a marketer is “The Irresistible Offer” by Mark Joyner. It provided valuable insights into crafting compelling offers that resonate with customers and drive business success.
However, the book that has had the most profound impact on my personal and professional growth as a CEO is “Awaken The Giant Within” by Tony Robbins. This transformative read instilled in me the mindset and strategies needed to overcome challenges and lead with purpose.
I’ve often gifted this book because its teachings extend beyond entrepreneurship, offering life-changing lessons that can benefit anyone striving for personal and professional improvement.
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Zach Wade: The most significant challenge Wade Marketing is facing right now is educating people about the transformative potential of job stacking. Because job stacking is a novel concept, many are reluctant to embrace the opportunity that job stacking offers, which is the ability to break free of the traditional 9 to 5 work model.
My agency offers a program to help people break into this, and while it has garnered both curiosity and skepticism, being pioneers in this field means we naturally encounter criticism. Nonetheless, we’re committed to educating and demonstrating the benefits of our approach to digital marketing.
In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?
Zach Wade: One of the most underestimated aspects of running a company is the importance of building a cohesive and complementary team culture.
Managing a group of individuals with diverse personalities and skill sets can be challenging, and it’s often overlooked how crucial it is for team members to complement each other harmoniously.
When personalities clash frequently, it can lead to decreased productivity and a breakdown in the company’s overall cohesion, highlighting the significance of fostering a collaborative and compatible work environment.
What does “success” in 2023 mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision.
Zach Wade: Success in 2023, to me, is a multifaceted achievement. On a personal level, it signifies maintaining excellent mental, emotional, and physical health.
Without a strong foundation of well-being, achieving success in business becomes significantly more challenging.
From a business perspective, success is about positively impacting customers while ensuring the happiness and well-being of our employees.
It’s a holistic approach where business prosperity goes hand in hand with the well-being of individuals and the broader community we serve.
