What specific areas of your business have been most impacted by AI, and how?
Srikrishnan Ganesan: Any “act of creation” has seen the most significant impact in terms of time and effort that goes into such work—whether it is content, design, or product development.
Our top-of-funnel marketing and BDR/SDR motions in sales are the next most impacted in terms of our use of AI to achieve accelerated outcomes.
What advice would you give to other CEOs looking to integrate AI into their business?
Srikrishnan Ganesan: Challenge every functional leader to work towards radical efficiency. And also make sure they are personally learning to use AI to do their own roles better. Actively ask your leaders where they used AI this week, and where they want to do more with AI as an individual and as a team.
How do you see AI evolving in your industry over the next 5 years?
Srikrishnan Ganesan: The pace at which AI is evolving, I don’t see the point of looking beyond 1 year. The world is very different every other week, and the pace of innovation is unlike anything we’ve seen before.
Every industry is going to look different—the cost structures, the jobs/roles in companies, the rate of innovation, and getting work done within the industry, all will change drastically.
Likewise, software companies will look different. Software will be built faster, with leaner teams. Marketing will be largely AI-driven. We still need more humans in sales and post-sales, but the “jobs to be done” for these roles will be different, and team members will get a lot of “help” from AI—for low value AND high-value tasks they do, including the more technical post-sale roles like solutioning, technical customer success, etc.
