He launched Charette Cosmetics to empower his clients to feel confident and beautiful in their skin, provide them with the latest and most effective skincare products, and revolutionize skincare and anti-aging treatments.
As a young entrepreneur, Charette quickly discovered that breaking into the medspa industry is no easy feat, but his passion for innovation and drive to deliver higher-quality skincare enabled him to push forward.
Now, as a master aesthetician, he inspires fellow entrepreneurs to overcome insurmountable challenges and turn their dreams into reality.
An entrepreneur with dreams bigger than his capital
Today, Charette Cosmetics has thriving locations in Atlanta and Dallas, with another opening soon in Miami. Celebrities such as Lil Durk, Latto, the City Girls, The Real Housewives, and Meagan Good trust the brand to achieve and maintain their camera-ready skin.
While Charette’s company has indeed grown into remarkable success, Charette Cosmetics started small. According to its founder, the combination of big dreams and a small budget almost prevented it from launching at all.
“When I launched, I did not have close to the resources and funding I needed to achieve my goals for the business,” Charette recalls. “I like to do things all the way or not at all. Many people in the healthcare space focus on basic treatments that are the bread and butter of our industry, but I was determined to offer advanced combination treatments and provide the newest techniques and protocols.”
Charette eventually decided to open a medspa to provide the protocols and treatments he envisioned, but the road to that goal was long. It was a path requiring patience, persistence, and perseverance.
“Since I did not have the money to purchase equipment, I had to start small,” Charette says. “Some of the machines I dreamed of cost over $500,000. At that time, I was in my early twenties with no credit to speak of. I definitely didn’t have that kind of money lying around to spend on a machine.”
Success is built on teamwork and trust
In many senses, Charette built a company at his own personal risk. However, he would be the last to say he did the work by himself.
“The first thing I did was to gather an amazing team around me,” Charette says. “I could not have built this company without them. This type of venture always takes a team, so before you take any leap of faith, surround yourself with good people.”

With little to work with, Charette concluded his only option was to take a risk. “I launched my company with one facial machine and a micro-needling pen,” he remembers, “and I saved up until I had enough money to buy another machine. This industry’s incredibly high entry barrier was the most difficult hurdle I faced.”
Once Charette opened its doors, the company grew quickly. Even with limited machinery, customers recognized a company that set itself apart from the rest and achieved incredible results.
“You get big rewards when you take big risks,” observes Charette. “I started this company with no loan and no financial help. I took a leap of faith, started with what I could afford, and built from there.”
Charette purchased the equipment he needed, one machine at a time. Today, his company is everything he imagined it could be. The medspa’s wide range of aesthetic treatment and protocol options include instant BBL, male enhancement, hair transplants, vaginal rejuvenation, body sculpting, facials, body chemical peels, and so much more.
