We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company
Ozzin Jun: At fifteen, I started my journey by working in Swiss hotels, which seemed very different from what I would eventually be called to do. Growing up in an artistic family, I initially pursued economics, believing it to be a practical choice. However, I quickly realized it wasn’t for me. My heart wasn’t in it, and I desperately needed to explore other avenues. This realization led me to New York, where I delved into life as a freelance artist, trying to blend my artistic skills with entrepreneurship.
In 2019, my life took a devastating turn when I was kidnapped and raped. It was a callous time, yet it marked a significant turning point in my life. Despite missing two months of school due to the trauma, I managed to catch up on exams and graduate successfully. This experience, although harrowing, redirected my focus and led me back to university to study Design Management, merging my passions for art and business.
While studying, I juggled side hustles, learning digital marketing and copy writing, often sleeping just five hours a night. The relentless hustle was exhausting but rewarding. It became clear that my passion was helping people to build a purpose-driven business while travelling the world. People began asking me how I made money online, and I naturally transitioned into a coaching role.
In April 2021, I fully committed to coaching, taking on massive debt and action. Within eight months, I had achieved a six-figure cash month. My efforts were recognized when I was featured in Times Square and over 190 publications. By 2023, I was awarded Best Business Mentor at the Global Women Leadership Awards in Dubai. My influence grew, and I impacted over 15,000 people through my coaching, helping coaches build six-to seven-figure businesses. I worked with Hollywood film directors and was invited from the CEO in Hyundai Motors in Korea.
My mission is to empower women to recognize their worth and dominate their industry. I’m obsessed with supporting people in creating a million-dollar movement aligned with their purpose while living a mind-blowing life.
If you were in an elevator with Warren Buffett, how would you describe your company, your services or products? What makes your company different from others? What is your company’s biggest strength?
Ozzin Jun: 1. Refined Process Focused on “WHO” Over “HOW”
After investing enormous amounts into coaching, I picked up on the success patterns of my most successful clients. I refined my entire process to create more considerable transformations around the “WHO” instead of just the “HOW.” Having access to the right information is key to building a successful business, but these days, a lot of people have too much information. The ability to filter and access very specific targeted information, and support people in implementing it strategically, is where I witness big breakthroughs. I offer very specific programs for each area of business.
For example, one of my signature programs is Micro-Celebrity. It gives you access to all my content conversion frameworks and visibility strategies. It’s all you need to 5x your sales with your current audience. You’ll learn how to sell offers at different price points without sales calls or live launches. Other signature programs include 7-Fig Offer Waves, which helps create low-mid ticket offers that sell out your high-ticket spaces, World-Class Leadership to activate your personal power, and Transformational Sales.
2. Actionable Modules and Cinematic Experiences
What sets my program apart from other courses is the depth of each topic with actionable modules. Based on individual needs, clients can treat my programs as a library to look up and take immediate action. Apart from my four signature programs, I offer other programs that support business owners and coaches in growing, such as Media Star to be seen and paid, and the Le Regard Happiness Program.
These programs provide an experience, and some include cinematic experiences with original concepts I use to build my personal and business success. This makes learning fun while achieving results. My coaching stands out because it’s results-driven and concisely designed to get people into action.
3. Customized Success Paths for Diverse Business Models
The most unique aspect of my coaching is that I work with clients who succeed with entirely different business models. Scaling is not just about monetary gains but also about growing in a way that supports your desired lifestyle. For example, someone who desires to travel all the time while making passive sales without calls versus someone who doesn’t desire many clients but prefers a few premium clients with application calls might have entirely different offer suites and approaches. I show people different ways to achieve their goals rather than just pointing out one way.
It’s about creating their movement. Most of my clients are stuck between $20-30K per month and desire to grow to $50-100K+ cash months. I focus on setting my clients up for long-term success by focusing deeply on identity work while integrating strategic work.
Quiet quitting, The Great Resignation, is an ongoing trend causing many businesses to struggle to keep talent engaged and motivated. Most are leaving because of their boss or their company culture. 82% of people feel unheard, undervalued, and misunderstood in the workplace. In your experience, what keeps employees happy? And how are you adapting to the current shift we see?
Ozzin Jun: I observed that many companies struggle with keeping their employees happy, because they don’t value them, they don’t make them feel seen and they fail to support their career with new opportunities. One of the biggest things that would change that is to train everyone in the team, including managers, leaders, and CEO’s how to communicate better.
In my experience what keeps my team members happy are the following things:
- Deep appreciation by applying the 5 Love Languages to my team (eg. gifting them something they desire, affirming with compliments, doing acts of service by creating more efficiency in their workflow through new tools/approaches, tap them on their shoulders to celebrate their work, spend quality time together outside of business etc.)
- When hiring, and after somebody is hired, I always make it clear what our company values are, eg. Love, Integrity, Growth-Driven & Innovation. I share the common vision, mission and keep reminding my team members why we do what we do. Every person is plugged into our big vision, and everyone is highly valued.
- I create a safe environment, so my team members can open up in meetings or outside of business in honesty. I encourage feedback, new ideas, I give control away to let each person do what he/she is good at, and I also welcome tough conversations for next level growth, eg. salary negotiations for higher value, proposal to change certain things, etc.
- We weekly and daily celebrate our wins inside the company, eg. client wins, our personal win or growth in business
- I educate everyone proactively by giving team members free access to my programs, especially to boost their leadership skills, and to understand how things correlate to each other. Contextual, efficient and concise communication is what I prioritize.
- I take full ownership in all results, whether it’s good or bad. I lead by example, and care deeply about my team members beyond business.
With this approach, I had team members sticking with me even when I didn’t made much money or none. But they were invested into my vision, and as my company grew their salary and roles grew as well. I proactively support each person based on their needs.
Online business keeps on surging higher than ever, B2B, B2C, online shopping, virtual meetings, remote work, Zoom medical consultations, what are your expectations for the year to come and how are you capitalizing on the tidal wave?
Ozzin Jun: Some of the trends I observe in the coaching industries are:
- More specialized Niches (eg. Luxury Real Estate, Posing Coaches for Introverts, etc.)I
- ntegration of AI & AR (Technology in general)
- Data-Driven Coaching (Real-time feedback, data to measure client progress)
- Blended Learning Models (Virtual and In-person coaching)
- Peer Coaching (Growth in Community-based coaching)
I feel that people, who will thrive more in future are the ones that have a very specialized skillset. People are more looking for very customized hands-on support in anything, whether it’s in business, marketing, or anything health-related. That’s why I focus on always re-investing into programs, mentors and to learn in masterminds to stay on top of my genius in messaging, marketing and sales.
I also utilize daily AI tools, eg. ReadAI to take automatic notes of my coaching or podcasts meetings, and work on systemizing my processes inside & outside of my business. I’m very passionate about efficiency, and love to improve it on a weekly basis, eg. I work on weekends created SOP’s for new team members or make my own life easier by refining existing processes.
I think it’s important to keep learning, and to adopt an open mind towards new ideas. Whilst I’m a big trendsetter, striking a balance between innovation and sticking to what already works is important. Jumping on every new trend and innovating too much is neither productive.
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Ozzin Jun: A common challenge entrepreneurs face is getting lost in the noise of the entrepreneurial space. They often know what is right for them but fall into self-sabotage due to constant comparisons and an overload of strategies. I experienced this myself, feeling confused by too many methods and comparisons. I went from six-figure debts to making six figures a month when I decided to do things my way. I created a movement around my brand by sharing my story and connecting it to a bigger vision. As a survivor of rape and kidnapping, I aimed to educate not only on business skills but also on preventing rape. Grounding myself in my purpose helped me trust the process. Being a pioneer requires courage over confidence.
Advice:
Focus on being a creator, not a consumer. The online space seems noisy only when you’re constantly consuming. Ground yourself in a clear purpose and vision, build a movement around your brand, and share your story. Trust yourself and follow your intuition, leading with courage to do things differently from others in your industry.
The million dollar transformation lies in trusting your own power, and embodying new behaviours (eg. self-leadership) to make your dreams a reality.
In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?
Ozzin Jun: Shifting Identity Through Self-Leadership is highly underestimated. Profitable companies understand the value of leadership programs.
A study by Harvard Business Review reported that companies with strong leadership development programs have a 60% higher retention rate than their peers. This is because retaining talent reduces the costs associated with turnover and recruitment. It also increases massive financial performance.
Building wealth and a thriving business requires focusing on who you are becoming. Strategies are easy to find, but becoming the person who uses them effectively is challenging. Changing our thoughts and behaviors significantly impacts how we view ourselves and show up as leaders. Self-leadership has been my greatest catalyst. Working with various coaches and entrepreneurs, I witnessed many business breakthroughs through leadership training that focused on personal power. Many people in the coaching industry try to replicate others for quick success.
Advice: Focus on your personal power to build a world-class brand. Success in business and relationships hinges on self-leadership. Adopting strategies is crucial, but becoming the person who effectively uses them is essential. For example, work out daily to stay fit and regularly check your finances.
On a lighter note, if you had the ability to pick any business superpower, what would it be and how would you put it into practice?
Ozzin Jun: I think it would be in systemizing things and streamlining things in a more simple way. Often we overcomplicate things as entrepreneurs, add unnecessary things, and blend in at times too many strategies at once. I think the art of simplfing things, especially for high-performers, deep thinkers and smart business owners can be challenging. One of my superpowers is deep empathy for others, and deep contextual thinking for systems while being a strong visionary. But there are times even I catch myself complicating things. In those moments, I remind myself to get back to basics and to simplify things for more efficiency.
What does “success” in 2024 mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision
Ozzin Jun: I plan to expand my coaching business and transform millions of lives. I care about each person as if their life could change the world. I believe in the ripple effect of creating one leader who can save a whole nation. My mission is to activate other women, equip them with skillsets, knowledge, and wisdom, and remind them who they are. I also want to bring men and women into same spaces by creating recurring signature events that are immersive.
I plan to host the largest entrepreneurial event in the world that include artists, performers, some of the most influential entrepreneurs and to design it with concepts that create a cinematic experience on spot. For example, after going to the headquarters of the sphere in LA, and going to the Sphere in Las Vegas in 2023, I plan to connect the world of cinema with a 360 degree screen with education for deeper transformation on spot. In-person events have changed my life, and I want to provide others the same opportunity. Just delivered in a different way.
I aim to redefine women’s empowerment by discussing how men and women must work together for a more profound impact. My vision is to build leadership academies worldwide, support third-world countries by providing quality education, build healing resorts, and establish an entire “Ozzin Jun Group” branch with a few surprises. I also keep want to contribute as a peace ambassador and become a negotiator for the unification of South and North Korea.
