Company: Enlightened Path Healing
We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company.
Lisa Batitto: I specialize in guiding professionals and business leaders through personal and professional transformation using energy healing, mindfulness, and intuitive coaching. My background as an Intuitive Reiki Master, Akashic Records Reader, and Work Trauma Coach allows me to help individuals break through limiting beliefs, heal from past experiences, and build resilience in their careers and lives.
In today’s fast-paced, high-stress business world, many professionals find themselves overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in cycles of burnout. My work focuses on helping them realign with their purpose, develop emotional resilience, and create a more fulfilling path forward—whether that’s navigating career transitions, overcoming work-related trauma, or simply learning to lead from a place of clarity and confidence.
Can you share a time when your business faced a significant challenge? How did you navigate through it?
Lisa Batitto: I became a Reiki Master right before the COVID-19 lockdowns, and suddenly, the traditional in-person healing model wasn’t an option. At first, it was daunting. Reiki is such an energetically intimate practice, and I wondered if remote sessions would have the same impact. But rather than seeing it as a setback, I saw it as an opportunity to expand my reach beyond my local community.
I quickly pivoted to offering virtual Reiki sessions, which not only allowed me to continue supporting my clients but also connected me with people from all over the world. I worked with professionals navigating career uncertainty, entrepreneurs managing heightened stress, and leaders looking for clarity in a chaotic time. This shift reinforced something I’ve always believed—healing isn’t bound by physical space. Energy transcends distance.
That experience shaped the way I approach my business today. It showed me the power of adaptability, the importance of meeting people where they are, and how resilience isn’t just about surviving challenges but using them as catalysts for growth.
How has a failure or apparent failure set you up for later success?
Lisa Batitto: Early in my journey, I initially struggled with the idea of ‘selling’ my services. Coming from a healing background, I resisted traditional business strategies, thinking that if I just focused on helping people, everything else would fall into place. But that mindset led to burnout. I was overgiving, undercharging, and not sustaining my own energy.
At first, I saw this as a failure. I questioned whether I was meant to do this work. But in reality, it was a lesson in balance. I realized that to truly help others, I had to value my own time, energy, and expertise. I began setting healthy boundaries, restructuring my business, and aligning my offerings with what felt right for me.
That shift not only helped me create a sustainable practice but also made me a better guide for my clients, many of whom struggle with their own boundaries in work and life. What felt like a failure was actually a turning point that allowed me to grow into the business owner and healer I am today.
How do you build a resilient team? What qualities do you look for in your team members?
Lisa Batitto: While I don’t have a traditional team, I see my clients as my team because healing and growth are collaborative processes. Resilience is strengthened through support, guidance, and shared experiences.
In my work, I focus on helping my clients build resilience by teaching them how to regulate their energy, shift limiting beliefs, and navigate challenges with greater clarity. I look for a willingness to grow, an openness to self-reflection, and a commitment to their own healing journey. Those are the same qualities I’d value in a traditional team: people who are adaptable, self-aware, and willing to do the inner work.
Resilience is learning to move through it with strength and grace. That’s what I aim to cultivate in every session and every interaction with my clients.
How do you maintain your personal resilience during tough times?
Lisa Batitto: For me, maintaining personal resilience starts with my own healing practices. Reiki helps me reset my energy, mindfulness keeps me present, and working with the Akashic Records provides clarity when I feel uncertain.
I also prioritize daily rituals that ground me: morning meditation, breathwork, and setting energetic boundaries, especially when working with clients. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that resilience isn’t only pushing forward. Sometimes, it’s pausing, resting, and allowing yourself to recharge.
Finally, I remind myself of the same wisdom I share with my clients: challenges are often catalysts for growth. When things feel overwhelming, I shift my perspective and ask, ‘What is this teaching me?’ That mindset helps me navigate tough times with greater ease and trust.
What strategies do you use to manage stress and maintain focus during a crisis?
Lisa Batitto: I rely on a combination of mindfulness, energy work, and intentional action to stay grounded and focused. One of the first things I do is regulate my energy. I use Reiki to clear any emotional heaviness and breathwork to calm my nervous system. This helps me respond to challenges from a place of clarity rather than reactivity.
Mindfulness is another key strategy. Instead of getting lost in ‘what if’ scenarios, I focus on the present moment. What I can control and what truly needs my attention. A simple grounding practice, like feeling my feet on the floor or taking deep, intentional breaths, instantly brings me back to the center.
I also set clear, energetic, and emotional boundaries. In stressful situations, it’s easy to absorb external chaos, so I make sure to check in with myself and separate my own emotions from the situation at hand.
Lastly, I remind myself that every crisis is an opportunity for growth. I ask, What is this teaching me? How can I navigate this with resilience and grace? That shift in perspective helps me stay focused and solutions-oriented, even in difficult moments.
How do you communicate with your team during a crisis?
Lisa Batitto: I see my clients and community as the people I support and communicate with during difficult times. In a crisis, clear and compassionate communication is key. I make sure to check in with my clients, offering them tools to manage stress, process emotions, and stay grounded.
I also prioritize authenticity and transparency. I remind people that resilience is learning to move through it with awareness and strength. Whether it’s through one-on-one sessions, group workshops, or simply sharing supportive messages, my goal is to help people feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Energy is contagious, so I make sure that when I communicate, I’m coming from a place of calm and clarity. If I’m centered, I can hold space for others, which is one of the most powerful ways to lead through uncertain times.
What advice would you give to other CEOs on building resilience in their organizations?
Lisa Batitto: Resilience in an organization starts with its leadership. CEOs set the energetic tone for their teams, so prioritizing emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and adaptability is key. My advice?
-Lead with self-awareness. Resilient leaders recognize their own stress patterns and take proactive steps to manage them. When you prioritize your well-being through mindfulness, energy management, or simply taking pauses, you model resilience for your team.
-Encourage a culture of balance. Burnout is one of the biggest threats to resilience. Create an environment where employees feel supported, have room for creative problem-solving, and are encouraged to recharge. A well-rested, emotionally balanced team can weather challenges far better than one running on empty.
-Teach adaptability over control. Uncertainty is inevitable in business. Rather than trying to control every outcome, encourage a mindset of flexibility and trust. Resilient organizations don’t just react to challenges; they evolve with them.
-Invest in emotional well-being. Whether through mindfulness programs, coaching, or wellness initiatives, giving employees tools to manage stress and regulate their energy will strengthen resilience at every level of your company.
How do you prepare your business for potential future crises?
Lisa Batitto: For me, preparing for future crises is building energetic resilience, adaptability, and a strong foundation of support.
-Flexibility is key. I’ve structured my business so I can serve clients in multiple ways, whether through in-person sessions, remote healing, or corporate wellness programs. This adaptability ensures that no matter what happens, I can continue to offer support.
-I prioritize my own energy management. As a healer and business owner, my ability to serve others depends on how well I take care of myself. Daily mindfulness, Reiki, and grounding practices help me stay clear-headed so that I can make aligned decisions even in uncertain times.
-I stay connected with my community. Relationships are everything. By maintaining strong connections with my clients and other wellness professionals, I’ve built a support system that helps me navigate challenges.
-I embrace change as an opportunity. Every challenge holds a lesson. Rather than fearing future crises, I trust that they will bring growth and deeper alignment with my purpose. That mindset has helped me pivot and expand in ways I never expected, like taking my business global through virtual healing sessions.
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned about leadership in times of crisis?
Lisa Batitto: The most important lesson I’ve learned about leadership in times of crisis is that true resilience comes from within. When everything feels uncertain, the ability to stay grounded, emotionally balanced, and energetically clear makes all the difference, not just for yourself but for those you support.
I’ve learned that leadership is how you show up. In moments of crisis, people don’t just need solutions; they need stability, clarity, and a sense of calm. That’s why I prioritize energy management, mindfulness, and self-awareness. If I can maintain my own balance, I can hold space for others to do the same.
I’ve also realized that challenges are often redirects, not roadblocks. Instead of resisting change, I’ve learned to embrace it as an opportunity for growth. When I shifted my mindset from ‘How do I fix this?’ to ‘What is this teaching me?’, I found a new level of trust, not just in my business, but in my ability to lead through uncertainty with grace and confidence.
