Let’s start by telling us about your business.

Elizabeth Buller: Buller Real Estate is a real estate company based in Columbus, Ohio. We build and sell properties, and also hold a portfolio of rental properties.

Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?

Elizabeth Buller: I always ensure that I deliver on my promise. Our customer service policies do not allow for short cuts when it comes to meeting customer needs.

Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?

Elizabeth Buller: We always go out of our way to satisfy the needs of our customers. It works, and has helped separate us from the competition.

And to finish this section, please tell us what is the one major key to your company’s success?

Elizabeth Buller: The key to my company’s success is prudence in capital management. It is capital intensive industry and if you get it wrong on financial management, you can easily run into liquidity challenges.

For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?

Elizabeth Buller: I would tell them to go for it. If you have an idea, implement it now. Lots of good ideas get lost due to self-doubt and procrastination.

For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what one big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging.

Elizabeth Buller: If you face a challenge, step back and analyze it more deeply. Most times, challenges come with growth opportunities.

In today’s fast changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?

Elizabeth Buller: I am subscribed to Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, and a host of other business magazines. They keep me up-to-date on the latest in business.

What is your “Why”? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?

Elizabeth Buller: To serve humanity in the best way possible.

In one sentence, what is the most important thing one has to do to be a great leader?

Elizabeth Buller: A great leader should be a good listener.

In one sentence, describe how important your customers are to your business?

Elizabeth Buller: They are the ones who have kept us afloat for 21 years.

Elizabeth Buller: Technology can end most diseases and make life better.

Elizabeth Buller: If you can dream it, there is a good chance that you can achieve it.

Elizabeth Buller: I start my day with a review of the latest news in the business world.

Elizabeth Buller: I use rejection as a building block for future success.

Elizabeth Buller: I value experience over papers.

Elizabeth Buller: I take a drive to unwind and make sense of the situation.
