In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?
Dr. Mukesh Sharda: Leaders often underestimate the impact their communication style has on their team and may not put enough effort into building strong relationships with their employees. This can lead to misunderstandings, low morale, and high turnover rates.
For example, a manager who doesn’t communicate clear expectations with their team members may find that their employees are not meeting their goals or producing quality work. Similarly, a CEO who is not visible or accessible to their employees may find it difficult to build trust and create a positive company culture.
Therefore, effective communication and leadership should be given more emphasis in running a company, as they are crucial for building a successful business.
What does “success” in the year to come mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision.
Dr. Mukesh Sharda: Success in 2023 can mean different things to different people depending on their values, aspirations, and circumstances.
For some, it may mean achieving a specific business goal, such as reaching a revenue target, expanding their customer base, or launching a new product or service. For others, it may mean personal growth and fulfillment, such as learning a new skill, improving their mental or physical health, or strengthening their relationships.
Overall, I believe success in 2023 should involve making progress toward one’s long-term goals while also maintaining balance and well-being in other areas of life. It is important to strive for growth and improvement while also taking care of mankind and healing their diseases.
