Donald Galade: Transforming Finance with Faith-Driven Values in a Modern Economy

Could you share the journey that led you to where you are today, and what originally sparked your passion for this field?

Donald Galade: I started my financial services career in 1987. In 2000, I became more involved in my faith and my church and soon, everything changed.

Was there a specific turning point or ‘aha’ moment that shaped your approach or fueled the creation of your product/strategy?

Donald Galade: Yes, as a leader in a Pro-Life group, I came to realize that the mutual funds/stocks/bonds and other financial vehicles I sold promoted Abortion/Human trafficking and many other things that go against my faith. My clients were not aware either, so a change had to be made!

What were some of the biggest hurdles you faced in establishing your authority, and how did you navigate those challenges?

Donald Galade: It is hard to get a source that is respected by all to promote your brand, especially on a small budget. In the world today, there is so much fake and AI-generated programming, and getting noticed is hard. After appearing on several national TV shows when my latest book became an international bestseller, I finally got some recognition. t

What is the core problem your solution addresses, and why do you believe your approach is uniquely effective?

Donald Galade: My solution shows those who believe the Bible as the infallible Word of God that many of the things they invest in currently support the World and not the Word. Even then, many still have a hard time grasping this concept.

Could you share a compelling example or case study that illustrates how your product/strategy delivers results?

Donald Galade: A very large church where my two children are employed on staff did not realize that their own in-house 403-b retirement plan (for the pastors and staff) had investments in it that supported Abortion and Human trafficking. The folks preaching the evils of this world had no idea their own money was promoting the same evils. That was an eye-opening experience. Luckily, it was easy to fix.

What sets you apart from others in your industry, and how do you maintain a competitive edge?

Donald Galade: The Biblical Responsible Investing (BRI as it is called) concept is relatively new. Few understand its complexity, but with the right partners on the money manager’s side of the equation, it is an easy program to illustrate. In short, my competition only cares about making money for the client and themselves. I care about those things, too but I put making God the priority and also showing how their money manager that implements the retirement plan can also promote the Kingdom of God using their resources too. It is a win win win solution.

Where do you see your industry heading in the next few years, and what emerging trends should our audience pay attention to?

Donald Galade: Growing exponentially! Probably faster than any other financial program thus far.

Are there any must-have tools, resources, or habits that have significantly contributed to your success?

Donald Galade: Yes, the right partners, the right attitude, and a humble heart. Great investment options don’t hurt!

What upcoming projects, initiatives, or developments are you most excited about, and how do they tie into your long-term vision?

Donald Galade: Showing how these programs can be implemented by Fortune 500 companies and their pension plans.

What would you change if you had to start over?

Donald Galade: I would have used the business model I am using today back in 1987. I’d be retired and playing with my grandkids at age 50! God is good.
