If you were in an elevator with Warren Buffet, how would you describe your company, your services or products? What makes your company different from others? What is your company’s biggest strength?
Courtney Hill: Our biggest strength is helping our clients go from stuck, underpaid and in meaningless jobs to fulfilled and landing $90K-$200K career roles! We do this by helping professionals get clear on their value, build a powerful brand and strategically network.
What advice do you wish you received when you started your business journey and what do you intend on improving in the next quarter?
Courtney Hill: I wish someone would have told me to start earlier! We often get told “I wish I met you earlier in my career”, and this simply confirms that people need a career strategist in their corner. Think about it, your career is what puts clothing on your back and food on your table. It’s important!
Online business keeps on surging higher than ever, B2B, B2C, online shopping, virtual meetings, remote work, Zoom medical consultations, what are your expectations for the year to come and how are you capitalizing on the tidal wave?
Courtney Hill: I am rooting for online businesses because let’s get real, do we truly NEED office space much anymore?
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Courtney Hill: The real challenge I see right now is people are quick to quit. They can’t always see the long game… but the short game is fierce. It’s MUCH more roomy in the long game. So, don’t stop putting in the time and effort required to truly meet your goals!
Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Courtney Hill: Businesses can thrive by being honest with what results you can truly provide to your clients. Let’s not overpromise and under deliver.
Also, one on one time with your customers and clients is so valuable! I hope this never fades.
What does “success” in the year to come mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision.
Courtney Hill: My vision is to truly help 100,000 professionals in their career go from stuck to thriving and getting paid what they truly DESERVE! Being underpaid and overworked is a terrible feeling.
