Anatoliy Labinskiy: I’m Anatoliy Labinskiy, the founder of GSM Growth Agency. My personal story is one of resilience. I started out as a waiter in Dubai, but I knew I wanted more for myself. Over time, I discovered the world of eCommerce and worked tirelessly to build a successful business from scratch. Fast forward to today, GSM Growth Agency is not just a business but a platform that helps others achieve the same entrepreneurial freedom and success I’ve experienced, backed by a talented team of over 30 professionals.
What inspired you to start your business, and what were the biggest challenges you faced in the early stages?
Anatoliy Labinskiy: My inspiration came from experiencing professional burnout in traditional jobs and realizing I wanted financial independence and creative freedom. When I stumbled upon eCommerce, I saw the potential to not only create wealth but also a life where I controlled my time.
The early days, however, were nothing short of a struggle. Starting from scratch with limited financial resources was tough. I had to learn everything—marketing, product research, customer service—by myself. There were failed ventures along the way, as well as moments of doubt and imposter syndrome. But those challenges shaped me. They taught me to adapt quickly, make data-driven decisions, and stay committed to the long-term vision of success.
At what point did you realize your startup was gaining traction, and what key strategies helped you scale successfully?
Anatoliy Labinskiy: The turning point for GSM Growth Agency came when we began delivering exceptional results for our clients consistently. A major validation was seeing our clients grow their businesses rapidly using strategies we had developed. For example, one of our clients in the sports merchandise niche achieved nearly $44,000 in revenue with an ad spend of just $7,500—that’s a 5.8 ROAS! Results like these set us apart in the market and fueled growth through word-of-mouth and client referrals.

How did you approach funding and financial management during the scaling phase? Did you bootstrap, raise capital, or take another approach?
Anatoliy Labinskiy: We bootstrapped the business, which wasn’t easy but made us more resourceful and accountable. We reinvested profits back into the company to fuel growth while carefully managing cash flow to ensure we could sustain operations through both strong and tough times.
