Alexandr Korshykov: I’m Alexandr Korshykov, the Founder and CEO of DreamX, a Ukrainian UX/UI design and development company. I started DreamX in 2022 with a team of two and a clear vision of delivering thoughtful, user-centered digital solutions. Over the past two years, we’ve grown into a team of over 20 professionals, working with clients worldwide. We collaborate with a variety of industries, including healthcare, fintech, AI, SaaS, startups, and beyond. At DreamX, we offer a wide range of design services, including UX/UI design, web and app design, UX audits, pitch decks, MVP creation for startups, and more.
How does your company integrate purpose and impact into its overall business strategy?
Alexandr Korshykov: We integrate purpose and impact into our business strategy by championing initiatives that align with our values and resonate with our team. For example, we support shelter animals by regularly delivering food and raising awareness about animal welfare. On our website, we feature photos of employees’ pets, reflecting our belief that a connection to nature and society strengthens not only our team but also our bond with the communities we serve. These actions highlight our commitment to fostering a culture of care and making a positive difference beyond our work. Additionally, we aim to shape the future of our nation through projects like uBoost, a program dedicated to empowering teenagers with tools and guidance to build their futures. By investing in youth development, we support the next generation of leaders, helping them grow into confident, capable individuals who can drive change. Together, these efforts showcase our vision to balance business growth with social impact, creating a legacy of responsibility and progress.
Can you share an example of how your business has successfully balanced profitability with social responsibility or sustainability?
Alexandr Korshykov: At DreamX, we have successfully balanced profitability with social responsibility by directing a portion of our profits toward charitable initiatives that positively impact society. We actively support programs that enhance community development and provide assistance to those in need. This approach not only reinforces our core values but also fosters trust among our clients and partners, who see us as more than just a design compan but the company committed to creating a better future. By integrating social responsibility into our business model, we cultivate an environment where employees take pride in their work and feel connected to a greater purpose. This alignment of purpose and profit has strengthened our relationships with clients and partners while proving that business success and meaningful impact can go hand in hand.
What role does philanthropy or community involvement play in your company’s mission, and why is it important to you as a leader?
Alexandr Korshykov: Philanthropy and community involvement are integral to DreamX’s mission, reflecting our commitment to creating a positive impact. Through our participation in the uBoost project, we teach children not only hard and soft skills but also foster financial literacy and entrepreneurial thinking. Personally, I am deeply involved in organizing this initiative, sharing my experiences during lectures to inspire and guide the next generation. This hands-on engagement is a unique opportunity to pass on knowledge and help shape the leaders of tomorrow. As a leader, supporting youth development is essential to me because it empowers young people to realize their potential in today’s dynamic world. By investing in their growth, we contribute to the long-term prosperity of our society.
How do you ensure that purpose-driven initiatives resonate with both your employees and your customers?
Alexandr Korshykov: We ensure that our purpose-driven initiatives resonate with both employees and customers by actively sharing them through platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. These channels allow us to showcase our successes, share meaningful stories, and engage our audience in discussions about important topics. By transparently demonstrating the impact of our projects and inviting participation, we foster trust and connection. We believe a business should not only generate profit but also positively impact the world around it. This approach strengthens our corporate culture, giving employees a sense of purpose and pride in their work. At the same time, it reassures our customers that we genuinely live by our values in everything we do.
What advice would you give to other leaders looking to embed purpose and impact into their organizations?
Alexandr Korshykov: My main advice for leaders looking to embed purpose and impact into their organizations is simple: start with genuine care. It all begins with your personal commitment to making a difference. When you, as a leader, show that social responsibility and impact truly matter to you, it inspires your team and creates a culture that upholds these values. Equally important is identifying the initiatives that align with your company’s mission and values. Focus on areas where your business can make the most meaningful contribution. Finally, be consistent. Purpose and impact shouldn’t be one-time efforts. They need to become an integral part of your company’s strategy and long-term vision.
